Meet our Pastor
Mike Rucker

Pastor Rucker attended Arlington Baptist College.  Upon graduation in 1977, he returned home to Wichita, KS until being called to Central Baptist Church in Bowie, TX as Associate Pastor for Bro. Paul Henderson.  In 1982, the Lord called him back to Kansas to Cheney Baptist Church and then, in 1986,  to Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Lancaster, TX.  Bible Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, TX has been home since 1993.  He has served on the boards of Minnetonka Christian's Camp, Arlington Baptist College, and the WFISD Board of Trustees.  He is the chaplain for the Wichita Falls Police Department and the senior chaplain for the Wichita County Sheriff's Office.  Also known as the "Flying Preacher", Mike has been combining his love of auto racing and the ministry since 1985 when he and his wife, Sherrie, began Rucker Racing Ministries. Since then, they have traveled to racetracks across the United States, spreading the good word while he races and while Sherrie often sings the national anthem.  His race car is #316 for John 3:16 and is often on display at local childrens' events.  Pastor and Mrs. Rucker celebrated 50 years of marriage on August 19th, 2022.
